4/1/25 D. DAY JAMBOREE IV w/ Carnage Asada / Head Cut / Killer Dreamer
D. DAY JAMBOREE is approaching us once again, people. This will be the 4th D. DAY installment where we hang and give props to D. on his big day.
Bands include:
KILLER DREAMER (8PM) will open the show. KD features members from various bands such as mike watt + the missingmen, The Leeches, Clown Sounds, Jag-Offs, Four Letter Words and Weird Night to name a few. Second on the bill is a great post-punk band called HEAD CUT (8:45) from Ventura. HC members also played in bands such as Massenger, Detoxi, Sweet Reaper and Catholic Spit. Headlining this event is CARNAGE ASADA (9:35) who are a Los Angeles-based band that mixes punk rock, jazz, hard rock and other genres. They are also known for their psych-punk sound and observational storytelling. Members also play/played in bands like: Alice Bag Band, The Deadbeats, Legal Weapon, Bazooka and more.
All bands who play D. DAY are required to play at least two MINUTEMEN songs as part of their sets. This has been an extra FUN highlight at the first three shows. Come and hear for yourself.
We will have limited D. DAY merch (buttons & stickers) available where 80% of profits will go to a chosen charity in D.’s name. This year’s sticker includes a photo of D. taken from a Minutemen group shot taken by Naomi Petersen (thanks to Chris Petersen for giving us the green light). Naomi also took the photo of D. used on the flyer — thanks again.
