Hard to find early compilation tracks from two of SST Records finest — all on one 7-inch ...

MINUTEMEN: "9:30 May 2" was part of the Paranoid Time 7-inch recording session, but didn't make it on that record. Instead, it was released on the New Alliance Records compilation, Cracks In the Sidewalk which was actually released before Paranoid Time. "Clocks" was released on the New Alliance compilation, Chunks and "Prelude" is a T.Rex cover released on the New Underground Records compilation, Life Is Beautiful So Why Not Eat Health Foods. All these comps are out of print.

SACCHARINE TRUST: "Disillusioned Fool" and "Hearts and Barbarians" are the first two recorded songs from ST — same session. "Hearts and Barbarians" was released on the New Alliance compilation, Cracks In the Sidewalk and "Disillusioned Fool" was released on the New Underground compilation, Life Is Ugly So Why Not Kill Yourself. "A Christmas Cry" was released on the New Alliance compilation, Chunks. All these comps are out of print.
